Jackson pollock is an american abstract artist. His work is random and fits in with my theme of chance. The chance that his work could look like art but then again could not. However it is quite hard to define what is art. I like the style of his work, how its messy and quite linear. His work also has essences of fractals due to the lines in his work. I attempted to try his method of work and tried to turn in into fractal art by using photoshop.

I started this project off by going to Manchester museum and looking at the fractal shells they had there. Here are some few images i got interested in. I enjoyed looking at the colour, shape, detail and patterns in these differerent types of shells.
