From my landscape images i decided to brain storm what i liked about them and why i liked it. I figured the reason i found them intriguing was because of the blending, changing and layering of colours. I noticed how the colours were blending in a vertical line. I started thinking of artists work that was similar which might give me some inspiration. I found some interesting artists such as Philip Gray, Kimberly Conrad, Jan Beany and Pauline burbridge. All these artist look at landscapes in some way whether from a textile point of view or fine art. This week i will start to draw from my landscape images using different blending techniques such as using water colours, using different tones of pencil, soft pastels etc.
